About

M.R. Void is a former Support Branch Director and Center for Domestic Preparedness Instructor for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

With over 1,700 days in the field conducting humanitarian relief, Void was deployed to support disaster response operations for hurricanes (Harvey, Irma, Maria, Laura, Delta, Zeta, and Ida), wildfires, floods, severe storms, tornadoes, an earthquake, and COVID-19.

He primarily specialized in emergency logistics.

M.R. Void lives in the quiet city of Lakewood, Washington — deep inside the Pacific Northwest.

After multiple providers recommended that he should “find a hobby” or whatever to help him deal with his PTSD, Void eventually embraced writing as a form of relaxation and started to document the odd, absurd, or amusing dreams that appeared before him as potential source material.
